Next door are having an extension built. It’s been the cause of much noise, dust and general annoyance as they tend to leave their vans scattered all over the place. The pavement has become unpassable for large portions of the day. The road is even unpassable on occassions. The fact that they start banging and crashing before 8am most mornings is even more annoying as it means it’s hard to get a decent lie in! For several nights over the last few weeks their side gate has been moving with the wind, resulting in large crashing noises at irregular intervals through the night.

This was the scene this morning.

The view from my front door is also quite attractive these days! The double buggy actually belongs to the house having the extension – even they can’t get to their front door!
