Over the last year I’ve hired a car several times from Europcar. They have good rates and their cars have always been OK. The thing that makes me keep going back is that they seem to provide good customer service. I was charged for an extra day’s hire as I exceeded 24 hours while waiting in a queue to return the keys 3 months ago, but a single phone call, lasting about 2 minutes and it was corrected! Today, when I informed them that the petrol tank hadn’t been full when I collected it, they did a quick check then provided a voucher a they couldn’t change the charge on my debit charge. That sort of service warrants repeat business in my books 🙂
